Making a conscious choice when purchasing makeup can help make a big difference. For many people, it's important that they only use cosmetics from cruelty-free brands which is why we've created this list of the best brands of 2021. Each of the brands listed does not test on animals or formulate their products in any way that could harm animals. 1. Covergirl

Recently Covergirl gave their brand a full cruelty-free makeover, ensuring that all of their best selling products met the criteria and are now "clean".


2. Charlotte Tilbury

This brand is the most recent to announce becoming cruelty-free as Charlotte Tilbury now proudly states that all of their products are free from animal testing!


3. Urban Decay

As stated on the Urban Decays website, they cannot confirm that all of their products are vegan but they are certified cruelty-free.


4. Kylie Cosmetics

With the new updated formulations from Kylie Cosmetics 2.0, they have ensured all of their products are free from animal testing. This includes also being gluten, paraben and sulfate free!


5. Glossier

Since the brands inception they have always aimed to offer a range of products that are cruelty-free and free from animal harm for beauty lovers to enjoy.


6. Huda Beauty

A declaration from the brands founder Huda Kattan states that the brand has no ingredients, formulas or finished products that are tested on animals.


7. E.l.f. Cosmetics

E.l.f has a 100% vegan makeup range all of which is cruelty-free making it one of the best drugstore cruelty-free brands.


8. M.A.C

M.A.C promises that they are working towards a cruelty-free world and are doing their part through the formulation of their products and advocacy.


9. Fenty Beauty

The Rhianna founded beauty brand does not test their products or ingredients on animals as well as not allowing their suppliers to do so on their behalf. Fenty Skin, the skincare counterpart to the brand is also certified cruelty-free.


10. Anastasia Beverly Hills

No need to stress about your favourite brow products harming animals because ABH has the stamp of approval for cruelty-free products!
